Nursery School Continued

There are opportunities for large and small group times. During large group times, children are involved in activities such as the daily news, Big Bear "star of the day", greeting each other, music and movement time, playground/gym or listening/-participating to a story. During these large group times, children are encouraged to become involved, feel comfortable in a group, and applaud the efforts of others. At small group times such as art or Activity time, children will be encouraged to participate, but will not be forced.

Field Trips

Trips to various places in the community enrich the child's experiences. We will take at least one field trip by chartered bus during the school year. Parents will, of course, be notified before each trip and will be invited to accompany their child. Visits from community helpers and others sharing their occupations are also enrichment opportunities for the children.
